REMAPPING
Relationships are explored through color studies developed through a psychological lens. Initial painting is inspired by colors perceived as descriptive of another’s personality. Then, color-matching skin and hair tones from my face, these carefully mixed hues are layered on top of the first layers of colors, while considering the relationship between the colors and the two individuals in the relationship. How do the strengths of the ‘others’ personality, or my own, overshadow? When and how do our compatibilities blend? Is there a spiritual ribbon that weaves us together?
